Yesterday, our school performed in the Annual Rockeisted Fodd Challenge. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is a dance competition that your school enters and gets students from all around the school to dance and to design costumes and props. We only got two awards but that doesn't matter at all. The awards we got were: the first one was from the Network Ten and the award they gave us was for "Exelence of Drama" and the second one was from the advertisment "Drinking Where are your Choices Taking you www.drinkingchoices.com and the award they gave us was for performance skill. On top of all that, WE ROCKED!!!!!!!!!

 

Our title was "Everyone Has a Choice".

 

Theme: The holy book opens and we hear the voice of God telling man that he has the ability to choose. Spirits then entice people along their chosen path. A central character is presented with a view of Heaven and Hell. He then must choose a path. He is seduced by Hell.

Thankyou: Rebecca Anderson for choreographing the dances for us and for her patience, the encouragement and the commitment to the students of St. Johns College (my school). To the Prokopiou and Boubis families for their generous donation, to Mrs Dokolas for making the Angels costumes and our Devil skirts (yeah go Devils, the lil' sedusive things we were!!!! Ha ha!!!!) and to Mrs Bosna for making the Angel wings. Also, we can't thank this school enough and that is Pascoe Vale Girls High School. Thankyou for loaning our school some of your stage sets. As I said, we can't thank you girls enough. Also, a big thankyou goes out to Mr Perri because without him, we wouldn't of had this Rockeisted Fodd this year. Kosta, thanks for being there for us and making us laugh when you were poking Sam (LOL). Sam, thanks for just being funny when you said "who's poking me??.......stop poking me!!" Taso (that's Anastasio), thanks for making us girls laugh.........we apreciate it. Yianni, thanks for singing "I Love Aeroplane Jelly" when you were comming past us girls in the set. You're funny too. Ohh yeah and thanx for poking Savva with the wooden pich fork and breaking it. Do you really wanna know where Yianni poked it?? (LOL), also, to all of the guys who made us laugh (that includes you Savva), thanx for sticking out your heads when us girls had to take off our skirts for modern hell (blade) at school, but please, try not to do it next time cos the girls on the stairs might step on your heads, hands our fingers and then we'll really scare you all (LMAO).

Also, a big thankyou goes out to all the parents whos kids were involved in the Rockeisted Fodd. You guys deserve more than a pat on the back (that includes my parents). Mum, dad, thanx for having faith in us and I'm sorry for all the trouble I have caused you over the past six months. I love you both. I'd also like to thank my whole family and all of my friends for just being there for me when I needed them the most. You guys are great and thanx for making me laugh. I love you all for that. Also, I'd like to thank my cousin David who tried to help me find some hot pants for the Rockeisted Fodd Challenge. You did your best mate.

And last but not least, I'd like to thank all the schools who we competed against, together we make a great team and I wish you all good luck in the future in every step of your life. Within every step you take, your life gets harder and harder but never ever give up. Also, I'd like to thank all of the people who went and watched us perform. You were a great crowd and so were the guys when the said "woo" when we took off our skirts (we had hot pants underneath) and thanks to my friend George Abatzidis for his positive feedback and also to Anna, who pushed my ern onto the stage because without her, no one would be able to see my seductive dance moves and also to Patricia Linardos who choreographed the ern dance. Your way better than me at choreographing English dances. If only you ask me to choreograph Greek and Cypriot dances, I would be fine!!!!
